Having a well trained cardiovascular system is the key to realising
the ambitions of race wins and championship trophies.
Your cardiovascular fitness needs to be calculated, closely monitored
and managed to ensure you are training hard enough, in the right
zone, for the right amount of time.
Your cardiovascular efficiency and strength will allow optimal
energy delivery and maximal concentration throughout the length
of a race. More importantly the more efficient and trained it is,
the quicker you will recover and adapt to environmental factors
that would otherwise hamper your performance.
Training using a heart rate monitor is essential, even more beneficial
is having uploadable data to analyse post training. This allows
better insight into every aspect and second of your cardiovascular
conditioning and performance session on session. Essentially it
also allows training to be scaled and increased in order to meet
targets and demands.
At fit2race we will scale your cardio training and re assess your
performance and current levels on a regular basis. All data will
be analysed to ensure your training is zoned specifically towards
the needs and demands of each individual driver and the formulae
in which they compete.
